Job summary

Arc After School & Experiential Education seeks a part-time Program Leader in the San Diego area to guide after-school activities, support homework help, and run student clubs with enthusiasm.

You will greet students, lead enrichment activities, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. This role reports to the Site Coordinator and requires reliable local commuting. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• TB test and Live Scan background check; covid vaccination if required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids to the program after school.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help and crafts.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols.
• Oversee safety and well-being during activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to diverse needs.
