Job summary

PLAE seeks an Elementary School PLAE Site Coordinator to oversee the OST program at The Northeast Community Propel Academy, Philadelphia. The part-time role covers 25 hours/week, in-person after school through 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays.

You will manage staff, attendance, data entry, and family communications while delivering literacy, SEL, mentorship, and sports activities for K–5 students. Strong leadership and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required.
• Minimum four years working with children or youth.
• Familiarity with afterschool programming and community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily afterschool logistics and use of school spaces.
• Supervise snack program and on-site staff, timesheets in Paycom.
• Lead curriculum areas: Literacy, SEL, Mentorship, Sports.
• Maintain attendance data and program records.
• Communicate with families and school leadership regularly.
