Job summary

FLIPANY in Deerfield Beach is seeking a part-time Teacher / Supervisor to lead the Arts, Wellness & Academics (AWA) afterschool program. The role blends academics, physical activity, nutrition education, SEL, and creative arts to help kids thrive.

You will serve as the instructional leader and on-site supervisor for a grant-funded program, with PATHS SEL and CATCH Kids Club activities, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Active or expired U.S. teaching certificate (any state).
• Minimum 2 years of verified, active K-12 teaching experience.
• Completion of the first two years of a four-year teaching degree (transcripts required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction using PATHS SEL curriculum and CATCH Kids Club activities.
• Lead Homework Assistance and enrichment across arts, nutrition, soccer, math, and mindfulness.
• Adapt programs for students with IEPs and diverse needs.
