Job summary

Bradenton Dream Center is seeking an energetic After School Program Instructor for the 2026/2027 academic year in Bradenton, FL. This part-time, seasonal hourly position runs Mon–Fri, 2PM–6PM, and emphasizes both academic support and faith-based development.

The role requires 1+ year of youth work, current college enrollment in Education/Ministry/Social Work, strong communication, and the ability to engage students after a full day of school. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year working with elementary or middle-school-aged youth in after-school programs, camps, or related roles.
• Current college students (18+) pursuing degrees in Education, Ministry, Social Work, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, active conflict resolution, and the ability to stay energetic after a full school day.
• Must pass a mandatory criminal background check and fingerprinting before start date.
• Physical ability to participate in outdoor activities, lift up to 25 lbs, and stay on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Group facilitation and supervision ensuring student safety at all times.
• Deliver daily academic and ministry curriculum, including homework help, reading/math review, arts and STEM activities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and faith-centered classroom culture aligned with Christian values.
• Greet and brief parents during evening check-out with updates on student progress and behavior.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and ministry spaces in collaboration with staff.
