Job summary

Notre Dame de Sion in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an Extended Day Program Staff member to supervise children ages 2–14 and maintain a safe, engaging after-school environment.

You will assist with basic student records, manage snacks with allergy awareness, and support the EDP Director and Head of School.

This part-time role runs Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 5:30pm during the school year, offering teamwork and growth in child supervision within our mission-driven program.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement is a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children; education degree or 1-3 years preferred.
• Energetic, creative, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Professional, patient in interactions with all constituents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children ages 2-14.
• Account for children at all times; maintain a safe and fun environment.
• Manage basic student records.
• Distribute snacks to all children, with adherence to any food allergies.
• Clean-up EDP area, including removing food, trash and other items.
• Hours available are Mon-Fri, 2:30pm -5:30pm, during the school year.
• Fulfill other responsibilities as requested by the Director of EDP, Principal or Head of School.
