Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore Villa Maria Behavioral Health Clinic seeks a Peer Recovery Support Assistant to provide peer-based support to at-risk youth, ages 12 to 18, at the Dundalk center in Maryland. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM, offering meaningful after-school activities and mentorship.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, promoting safe environments, and maintaining records while adhering to all policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months full-time direct practice in a peer recovery support environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of participants' information.

Responsibilities

• Follows all rules, policies, and procedures of the Dundalk Teen Drop Adolescent Recovery Center.
• Provides youth with activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Coordinates creating, planning, and maintenance of a safe learning environment.
• Utilizes positive strategies to support social and emotional development of youth.
• Promotes positive behaviors and professionalism.
• Assists and monitors youth and volunteers during program hours.
• Maintains accurate youth, staff, and after-school program records.
