Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) is required.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use, recovery support, or social services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support through one-on-one and group sessions.
• Assist residents with recovery planning and goal setting.
• Support individuals with substance use recovery and mental health needs.
• Connect residents to community resources, housing, and employment.
• Model healthy coping skills and recovery strategies.
• Advocate for residents and support self-advocacy and empowerment.
• Collaborate with case managers and multidisciplinary team members.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a residential or supportive housing environment

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality

Evening and/or weekend availability preferred

Education
