Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Experience with afterschool or youth programs is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and guide groups of children.

Responsibilities

• Assist afterschool director in planning and implementing daily activities.
• Collaborate with staff to design activities that support intellectual, creative, artistic, and athletic development.
• Monitor students to ensure understanding of rules and safety.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed and follow safety procedures.
• Assist in orienting parents and students about program policies.
• Develop and coordinate a calendar of activities and events.
