United Activities Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a part-time Group Leader to support afterschool programs in Staten Island, NY. This role focuses on creating a safe, engaging environment for youth ages 5 to 13 and assisting staff with daily activities.

Responsibilities include supervising classroom activities for multiple programs and helping with program operations. The position is in-person, 20-25 hours per week, with hourly pay of $17.50-$19.00.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with children ages 5–13.
• Experience in classroom, daycare, or school-based settings.
• Pass required reference checks and background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classroom-based afterschool activities for youth ages 5 to 13.
• Support COMPASS, SONYC, Beacon, and Cornerstone programs and staff.
• Create a safe, engaging environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Assist with daily operations and activity implementation.
