Job summary

AlphaBEST Education’s group leader for the 2026/2027 school year is a part-time position in Revere, MA with no weekend work. You’ll supervise a group of school-age children before and after school, delivering engaging activities and ensuring safety under trained guidance.

Responsibilities include supporting curious learners in fitness, arts, technology, and hands-on projects, collaborating with teammates, and fostering a warm, family-oriented environment. A state license clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to meet staffing needs.
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of student explorers through activities in fitness, arts, technology, and more.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
