You will collaborate with staff and families, manage materials, and ensure safe, engaging instruction that develops student skills toward final projects.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable in fashion design, sewing, illustration, and garment-making techniques.
• Prior teaching or instructing youth is preferred.
• Must be able to follow a curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce behavior rules for students.
• Lead and promote fashion arts activities and related crafts.
• Organize performance groups and direct rehearsals.
• Set clear objectives for lessons and communicate them to students.
• Assess student interests and adapt activities to needs.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for activities.
• Explain techniques and safety procedures to participants.
