Job summary

Atlanta Public Schools seeks an After School Enrichment Teacher to implement engaging programs for students in the 21st Century program at Dobbs Elementary School.

Responsibilities include planning and leading activities in areas such as cooking, dancing, robotics and fitness; creating lesson plans; monitoring student progress; and communicating with parents and staff. Must have SRT4 certification or a Bachelor's degree and experience with K-12 students.

Qualifications

• Requires SRT4-Certification or Bachelor's degree.
• Experience teaching or instructing K-12 aged children.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging enrichment lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced enrichment program.
• Instruct students in-person using various teaching methods.
• Establish clear learning objectives and communicate them to students.
• Maintain classroom materials, supervise enrichment projects, and ensure safety.
• Attend meetings and communicate with parents and staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate student records and support administrative tasks.
