Job summary

Atlanta Public Schools is seeking a 21st Century After School Enrichment Teacher for UshER-ColliER Elementary School. This role delivers enrichment programs during after-school hours, conducting classes and workshops in activities such as cooking, robotics, dance and fitness for K-5 students.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, documenting progress, supervising materials, and coordinating with families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SRT4-Certification in Early Childhood Education (P-5) or passed GACE/eligible AND passed GACE in ECE.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience teaching or instructing K-12 aged children.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time.
• Instructs students individually and in groups in an in-person setting using various teaching methods.
• Establishes clear objectives for all lessons and communicates them to students.
• Maintains student records and supports safe classroom environment.
• Assists with daily classroom operations and communicates with parents and staff.
