Job summary

Living Classrooms Foundation Inc. is seeking an Enrichment Educator to plan and execute project-based learning for 1st through 8th grade students in an afterschool program.

The role involves curriculum development, facilitating arts/technology integration, and coordinating quarterly showcases. Responsibilities include supervising 15–20 children, organizing field trips and guest speakers, and maintaining a positive, respectful learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop age- and skill-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Plan and facilitate project-based units throughout the afterschool program.
• Engage youth in respect, healthy habits, decision-making, hands-on learning and community-building.
• Produce student presentations for quarterly showcases.
• Research and arrange field trips, guest speakers, and special events.
• Supervise 15–20 children and maintain routine attendance and dismissal processes.
• Follow program schedules and discipline protocols.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming attitude with students, families and staff.

Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred

1 year of experience with school-aged children
