Utah State University Extension Office of Salt Lake County is hiring an Afterschool Educator to run enriching clubs for students in Kearns and Magna, Utah. Each 1.5-hour club runs 3:30 to 6:00 pm, 9–10 week quarters, with educators possibly teaching multiple clubs per week.
You will learn and teach diverse subjects such as Sewing, STEM, Cake Decorating, Music, and Art, while maintaining attendance records and participating in training and 4-H events.

Clubs run 1.5 hours a day for 9‑10 week quarters, typically from 3:30 to 6:00 pm. Educators may teach multiple clubs a week and are expected to be willing to learn a variety of subject matters such as Sewing, STEM, Cake Decorating, Music, Art, etc. Each club requires 2.5 hours of instruction per week.
$16.00 per Hour
Incumbents may work indoor or outdoor environments, spend long periods seated or standing, occasionally lift up to 50 lb, and may be exposed to weather, heat, cold, noise, fumes, and other environmental risks as described above.
