Job summary

Right At School offers before and after school extended day programs focused on engaging, disguised learning activities and daily enrichment for students. The Educator role emphasizes inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind within a mission-driven team.

The position is Monday–Friday split shift, with morning and afternoon blocks totaling up to 25.42 hours per week in Kentucky.

Qualifications

Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
Works well in a team environment.
At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
Ability to lift 25lbs.
Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare activities and curriculum aligned with objectives; lead structured daily fitness and curriculum.
Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and meet program goals with positive guidance.
Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment, address hazards, document attendance and incidents.
Communication: effective communication with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
