Job summary

KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy is seeking an After School Teacher/Instructor to support students with homework, academics, and enrichment after school on site. You will lead activities, track attendance, and help with registration while maintaining safety and engagement.

The role requires 1–2 years in youth development or related work, a high school diploma or AA/BA, and strong communication with diverse families.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with ability to pass ParaPro (460) or CBEST within 90 days.
AA or BA degree (min 48 units) required as alternative.
Strong communication and ability to work with diverse youth and families.
Proficient in Google Classroom, Hangout, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and related tools.
Demonstrated integrity and alignment with KIPP Public Schools Northern California's mission.

Responsibilities

Implement after school activities across core program areas (academic help, enrichment, arts, fitness).
Document schedules, lesson plans, curriculum and student participation/outcomes.
Use positive behavior management and track attendance daily.
Assist with program registration, customer service, and community outreach.
Ensure health and safety standards for students and staff.
