YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area is seeking a Co-Teacher to supervise and implement daily activities for youth in an afterschool program, fostering social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth in a safe, organized environment.

The role requires CPR/First Aid/AED certifications within 30 days of hire and completion of Child Abuse Prevention training; candidates should be at least 16 and have childcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum age 16 years or older.
• 1 year of childcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe and healthy environment for the afterschool program.
• Assist in planning and implementing daily lesson plans.
• Ensure safety and quality of supplies and equipment.
• Follow sign-in/out procedures and report accidents.
• Participate in events and maintain paperwork; support management.
