Job summary

Valley Christian Schools in Bellflower, CA is seeking a Part Time Day Care Staff member to provide safe, Christ-centered childcare before and after school. The role includes planning weekly activities for up to 30 students, supervising the classroom, and assisting with homework in a warm, structured environment.

Hours are 15–18 per week during the school year, with potential summer work. CPR/First Aid certification and church membership are preferred requirements for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage groups of up to 30 students
• Plan weekly grade specific activities
• Sign students into Day Care on an iPad
• Serve afternoon snack
• Assist students with homework
• Maintain cleanliness of facility
• Morning Devotions/Prayer
• Secure campus at end of each workday
• Monitor playground
