Job summary

Valley Christian Schools in Bellflower, CA is seeking a Part Time Day Care Staff member to provide safe, Christ-centered childcare before and after school. The role includes planning weekly activities for up to 30 students, supervising the classroom, and assisting with homework in a warm, structured environment.

Hours are 15–18 per week during the school year, with potential summer work. CPR/First Aid certification and church membership are preferred requirements for this position.

Purpose Statement

Day Care Staff are responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered environment for students to grow and learn. S/he will help provide childcare before & after school during the school year, and upon successful completion of the school year, may be offered a summer position. Day Care Staff also plan weekly grade specific activities. 15-18 hours per week during the school year.
