Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Belfield, ND for the afternoon shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm). The role supports the Store Manager with daily operations, inventory, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, enforcing procedures, maintaining a clean and organized store, and handling daily paperwork. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and flexible scheduling to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, outgoing personality with strong customer service.
• Experience with cash handling is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performs management duties as assigned or in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Directs and prioritizes the work of the store personnel at the Store Manager’s discretion.
• Enforce daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, stocked and organized.
• Maintain quality brand image standards and pass evaluations; manage inventory and display units.
• Assists with daily paperwork and computer entry.
• Capable of performing all duties of a Sales Associate and Supervisor.
• Attends monthly safety and security meetings.
• Self-direction and motivation are expected.
• Demonstrates safe work and risk management practices.
