Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math, reading, writing and English communication skills.
• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Meet production and quality goals while following safe work practices.
• Operate machinery to grind, package, shrink-wrap, and move products to the warehouse.
• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and finished products.
• Report equipment or process issues and assist maintenance with troubleshooting.
• Assist with batch preparation, product separation, changeovers and equipment cleaning.
• Collect product samples and deliver them to QA for testing.
• Ensure products are labeled, stored and handled properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow ISO 9001 standards.
• Assist with unloading empty drums and other materials as needed.
