Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Afternoon in Bordentown, NJ. You will monitor and safeguard client sites in manufacturing and industrial environments, deliver exceptional customer service, and support a welcoming, collaborative workplace that values integrity.

You will conduct routine patrols, verify credentials, document activity, respond to incidents calmly, and produce accurate reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within an industrial and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, deterring unauthorized activity and identifying unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and relevant activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.
