Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring for a full-time position with a pay rate of $13.39 per hour. The role focuses on access control, customer service, and vigilance at a food processing site.

You'll monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents with professional calm. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required where applicable, with background checks and drug screening conducted per policy.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food processing location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document access activity.
• Screen and direct incoming visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel to appropriate check-in locations while maintaining logs and required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
