R. Brown McAllister Elementary in Concord, NC is seeking a Custodian (12pm-8pm) to perform general custodial and light groundskeeping tasks in the school building and facilities.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and disposing of trash. Reports to the Assistant Principal or Principal; may open/secure buildings and adjust climate controls as needed. A valid NC driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of janitorial methods, materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning materials.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Proven attendance record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Sweep sidewalks and grounds, mop floors, and clean areas outside buildings.
• Dust furniture, walls, blinds and woodwork; clean windows and fixtures.
• Empty trash and organize recycling.
• Open/secure buildings and adjust lights/heating/AC as needed.
• Move furniture and set up rooms as required.
• Unload and store supplies and deliveries.
