Job summary

Citadel of Northbrook is seeking a Full-Time Afternoon Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential care to residents. This role involves significant responsibilities in patient care, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates (English/Russian) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician.
• Ensure assigned work area is maintained in a clean manner.
• Prepare medications and perform treatments as ordered.
• Direct certified nursing assistant services for the unit.
• Chart nurses notes informatively reflecting care provided.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to multi-task and remain calm under stress

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to organize and prioritize work

Understanding of infection control standards

Basic computer knowledge

Education

Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University

Current CPR Certification

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State
