Job summary

The Citadel of Northbrook, part of Citadel Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 3:00pm to 11:00pm shift. The RN will provide licensed care, administer medications, document care, and supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality resident outcomes.

Requirements include an IL RN license, nursing degree/diploma, and current CPR certification; 1 year experience preferred, with long-term care exposure beneficial. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current IL RN license to practice.
• 1 year of experience preferred; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Document and report nursing notes; manage shift responsibilities and MARs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor residents' condition.
• Maintain safe, clean care areas and supervise CNAs on assigned unit.
