Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking staff for its Food Services department at the Burnet Campus. This full-time relief position involves preparing, serving, stocking, and replenishing meals for patients, families, and staff.

Schedule includes 8.5-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays; prior high school education preferred. Responsibilities include ensuring food safety and sanitation, handling cash as needed, managing inventory, and adapting to varying locations and assignments within Food

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule : 8.5 hour shifts will be scheduled between 10:30am-11pm, 40 hours/week

• Provide staffing coverage across Food Services as needed


• Prepare, serve, stock, and replenish food and beverage items


• Assemble patient meal trays according to diet orders when assigned


• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff


• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards


• Support cash handling, inventory, stocking, and other operational duties as assigned


• Adapt to changing work locations, assignments, and departmental needs

Schedule Expectations

• This is a relief position with no guaranteed schedule


• Work assignments are based on departmental staffing needs and may vary from week to week


• There is a mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
