Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Food Service team member to support patient meals and customer service on the Burnet Campus. Responsibilities include preparing, serving, stocking and replenishing food and beverages, assembling patient trays, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

This relief role requires flexibility with shifts between 5a and 4:30p, 40 hours weekly, and a rotating schedule with every other weekend and holiday coverage.

• Adapt to changing work locations, assignments, and departmental needs

Primary Location Burnet Campus Department Food Services Shift Day (United States of America) Schedule Full time Weekly Hours 40 FTE 1 Employee Status Regular *Expected Starting Pay Range $16.75 - $20.27 *Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule: 8.5-hour shifts will be scheduled between 5a-4:30p, 40 hours/week

• Provide staffing coverage across Food Services as needed

• Assemble patient meal trays according to diet orders when assigned
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff

Schedule Expectations

This is a relief position with no guaranteed schedule Work assignments are based on departmental staffing needs and may vary from week to week There is a mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
