Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete DCYF preservice requirements for ECE lead teacher.
• Must hold an ECE Initial Certificate or equivalent within DCYF timeline.
• ECE certificates must be approved/verified through DCYF registry.
• Maintain professional development annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead teacher for afternoon preschool program and Extended Care.
• Provide care and supervision during Extended Care.
• Create a nurturing, responsive, safe learning environment for 3- and 4-year-olds.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Support children's social-emotional development and school readiness.
