YM & YWHA of Washington Heights & Inwood in New York, NY, is seeking an Early Childhood Education Coordinator for the afternoon and Extended Day program serving 120+ children aged two to five. The role supports the Managing Director of Early Childhood Education and the Education Department with day-to-day needs, classroom coverage, and family communications.

Qualificações

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
Two years early childhood education teaching experience preferred.
New York State Teacher Certification (Birth-Grade 2 or equivalent) required.

Responsabilidades

Support the Managing Director with day-to-day needs of the Education Department during afternoon and Extended Day programming.
Assist with classroom needs, questions, and day-to-day program operations.
Help ensure Extended Day runs smoothly and families have a positive experience.
Assist with family communication and address concerns as needed.
Maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.
