Job summary

Bright Horizons at JM Family Center in Deerfield Beach is seeking an Assistant Teacher for a part-time afternoon role. You will support hands-on activities, maintain a safe classroom, and communicate daily milestones with families.

Qualified candidates may pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost, and the position offers opportunities for professional growth within Bright Horizons’ education programs. Hours are 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DCF 45 hours required (per state guidelines).
• Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse Background Screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
