Job summary

Bright Horizons Assistant Teacher position located in Florida offers afternoon hours from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You’ll assist with hands-on activities, keep parents informed about daily milestones, and maintain a safe, clean classroom following Bright Horizons guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in child care; CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education is preferred. A strong commitment to growth and family support is expected.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in child care is preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education or related field preferred.
• Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse Background Screening.
• DCF 45 hours required depending on in-state experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
