Job summary

St. Thomas More School in Lynnwood is seeking two caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Kindergarten Instructional Aides to join our school community for the upcoming school year.

You will support instruction, supervise students, and help create a positive learning environment rooted in Catholic values. This role offers afternoons with up to 40 hours per week possible, and the salary ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in a school, childcare, or similar setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, dependable, and organized.
• Ability to foster a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Background check and Virtus training required; First Aid/CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support small-group and individual instruction.
• Assist with literacy, mathematics, and classroom learning activities.
• Prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions as assigned.
• Encourage positive behavior and model Christian values.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success.
