Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor for the Afternoon Shift in Sparks, NV.

You will lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations, develop and implement work procedures, evaluate workloads, and supervise hourly staff to meet production goals and safety standards. Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain or similar环境.
• Knowledge of LTL industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff and address workplace concerns.
• Ensure production goals are met by managing tonnage, payroll and admin tasks.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce all policies and regulations to optimize performance.
• Coach and develop employees, conduct evaluations and corrective actions.
