Sage-Haus in Birmingham, AL seeks a warm, reliable Family Assistant / Household Manager for a part-time role (25–30 hours/week, 25 hours guaranteed). Core hours Tue–Thu 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, with flexible Monday/Friday and occasional evenings.

Compensation is $30–$35/hour based on experience. Responsibilities include school pickup, homework support, meal planning, errands, light childcare, and pet care for two dogs.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Vaccinations up to date per CDC guidelines.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
• Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
• Comfortable with dogs and able to assist with medications when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide school pickup three days per week (Tue–Thu) and transport children to activities.
• Light afternoon supervision and backup childcare as needed.
• Oversee homework support and coordinate with tutor.
• Plan weekly meals with the teenager and prepare family dinners 2–3 times weekly.
• Run errands, manage groceries and household supplies, and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain daily home resets and organize shared spaces.
• Coordinate with cleaners, contractors, and service providers across both properties.
