Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with safe and efficient lifting and transporting procedures.
• Familiarity with freight forms and shipping documents.
• Ability to operate a dock yard management system for tracking shipments.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift, pallet jack or manually.
• Secure freight inside trailers with straps, rope, and other equipment.
• Read and interpret shipping labels and forms.
• Monitor freight locations using the dock yard management system.
• Conduct duties safely and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
