Salem Montessori School (SMS) in Salem, VA, is looking for dependable, caring team members to assist with children ages 3-6 in the after-school program. This part-time role runs Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–5:30pm, about 15 hours per week, with opportunities to learn Montessori methods and grow with the school.

Responsibilities include supporting nap times, helping with daily routines and pick-up, keeping spaces tidy, and engaging children in activities.

Competenze

• Ages 18 or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to be certified.
• Experience with children preferred.

Mansioni

• Help in nap rooms and end-of-day pick-up.
• After-school care.
• Provide basic needs for children in a caring manner.
• Assist with daily routines and supervisory tasks.

Expectations:

• Monday-Friday

• Ability to conduct chores apart from childcare

Requirements:

• Ages 18 or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to be certified

Experience with children (preferred)
