Job summary

Senior Helpers (US) is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Vandergrift area. The role emphasizes building meaningful connections with clients, with a consistent weekday morning schedule shifted to the afternoon, starting at 1:00 PM for weekday coverage.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months caregiving or related experience required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Negative TB test (2-Step or QuantiFERON Gold) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor clients' well-being and report concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
