Senior Helpers Parent Account in Natrona Heights, PA is seeking a compassionate caregiver for one-on-one in-home care, focusing on clients with dementia. Afternoon shifts start at 12:30 PM on weekdays, offering a consistent schedule and the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care,caregiving, or related field(Required)
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation(Required)
• Must be at least 18 years old(Required)
• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test(Required)
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times
