Job summary

Danfoss offers an Aftermarket Service and Training Intern position in Florida. You’ll work hands-on to improve aftermarket repair and manufacturing operations, helping increase efficiency and quality while supporting sustainable practices.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams, gaining real-world experience solving manufacturing challenges, analyzing performance, and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and production teams.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to share ideas, findings, and recommendations.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented approach with a willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and repair processes to enhance operational performance.
• Analyze repair line performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions that improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
• Participate in root cause investigations for quality issues and help implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects.
• Create and maintain documentation for process setups, changeovers, equipment procedures, and standardized work instructions.
• Track and follow up on preventive maintenance activities to support equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Contribute to cost reduction, waste elimination, and yield improvement projects that drive operational excellence.
