Job summary

What You Will Do
  • Analyze, track, and dispose of nonconforming, returned, or damaged materials, acting as a part of the Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Lead structured problem-solving (5 Whys, 3-Legged, 8D) to identify root causes, field failures, or repair issues to prevent recurrences
  • Develop, review, and approve technical repair schemes and work instructions for aerospace parts (structures, castings, raw material, etc.)
  • Analyze defect trends to update maintenance strategies, spare part designs, and standard work instructions
  • Ensure MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) activities comply with AS9100, FAA, and FAR145 requirements, including conducting internal and supplier audits
  • Monitor key quality metrics (PPM, Cost of Poor Quality) to evaluate repair process stability and effectiveness
  • Act as the technical point of contact for customers to resolve quality disputes, investigate complaints, and interface with OEMs regarding repair approvals
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Automotive with 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing
  • Understanding of GD&T in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing, overhaul, or supplier quality preferred
  • Familiarity with FAA repair stations regulations, AS9110 standards, and AS9102C First Article Inspection (FAI) a plus
  • Familiarity with QMS software and SAP or other ERP systems
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to work with technicians, engineers, internal, and external customers
Pay Range

$70,000 - $75,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements

Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
