Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is hiring NOW! This part-time Youth Development Professionals position at the Steve Wise Club in Akron, Ohio supports after-school programming in a supervised, fun and safe environment.

You'll plan and implement engaging activities, help recruit members, and encourage participation. The schedule is approximately 2 pm to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, about 20 hours per week, with starting pay of $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with youth preferred.
• Final candidates must clear a background check and drug test.
• 18 years of age with a High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Assist with after-school programming in a supervised, fun and safe environment.
• Plan and implement appropriate program activities; track, promote and encourage program participation; assist with membership recruitment.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for working with youth, in supervised, fun and safe environments. Our YDPs are responsible for planning and implementing appropriate program activities; tracking, promoting and encouraging program participation; and assisting with membership recruitment.

• Positions are Part-time, Monday-Friday
• Approx schedule is 2 pm - 6 pm - 20 hours per week.
• Starting pay rate is $ 17 per hour.
