Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is hiring Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) for the Elmwood Club in Garfield Heights, OH. The role supports after-school programming, promoting participation, and recruiting members in a supervised, safe environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of youth experience, be able to work Monday–Friday, and are prepared to undergo a background check and drug test. Pay starts at $17 per hour with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

• Must be able to support an exciting, caring and enjoyable educational environment.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with youth preferred.

Responsibilities

Are you interested in Making a Difference in the Lives of Local Youth? Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is hiring NOW! We have an immediate opening for Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) at our Elmwood Club in Garfield Heights, Ohio. Our YDPs assist with after-school programming at our Clubs

We are looking for individuals with a passion for working with youth, in supervised, fun and safe environments. Our YDPs are responsible for planning and implementing appropriate program activities; tracking, promoting and encouraging program participation; and assisting with membership recruitment.

• Positions are Part-time, Monday-Friday
• Approx schedule is 2 pm - 6 pm - 20 hours per week.
• Starting pay rate is $ 17 per hour.
