Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is seeking Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) for our Steve Wise Club in Akron, Ohio. This after-school program role focuses on safe, engaging activities and positive role models for youth.

Positions are Part-time, approximately 20 hours weekly (2 pm–6 pm), with a starting pay rate of $17 per hour. We value teamwork, dedication to youth development, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with youth preferred.
• 18 years of age with a High School Diploma.
• Background check and drug test may be required.
• Part-time, after-school hours, 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement program activities for youth in a supervised setting.
• Support after-school programming at the Club.
• Promote participation and assist with membership recruitment.

We have an immediate opening for Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) at our Steve Wise Club in Akron, Ohio. Our YDPs assist with after-school programming at our Clubs.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for working with youth, in supervised, fun and safe environments. Our YDPs are responsible for planning and implementing appropriate program activities; tracking, promoting and encouraging program participation; and assisting with membership recruitment.

• Positions are Part-time, Monday-Friday
• Approx schedule is 2 pm - 6 pm - 20 hours per week.
