Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County seeks a dedicated staff member to support afterschool programming for K-12 youth across multiple sites in northern Indiana.

You will help plan activities, engage members, and collaborate with families, volunteers, and donors to ensure a safe, educationally motivating environment. Qualifications

• Minimum High School graduate or equivalent; some post-secondary education preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with youth, including recreation, coaching, tutoring, or teaching.
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement Club curriculum, programs, and activity schedules.
• Sustain dedicated presence on site during all hours of operation.
• Support holistic programming for members in a fast-paced environment.
• Facilitate program development addressing the needs of all members.
• Manage program development using youth development strategies.
• Implement safety, guidance, and discipline policies consistently and compassionately.
• Establish positive relations with Club parents and family members.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and planning sessions.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment conducive to youth development.
• Complete required reporting and administrative functions related to youth development.
• Interface professionally with members, families, volunteers, staff, and school officials.
• Model appropriate attire, boundaries, communication, and conduct.
• Respond promptly to written and electronic information requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
