Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois is seeking a Site Coordinator for the After-School Program. You will manage a team to deliver high-quality programming, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for youth while fostering relationships with families, school personnel, and the community.

You will lead program implementation, staff development, and alignment with the organization's mission, values, and goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
• Experience working with youth is preferred.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff and members.
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations and demonstrate problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality after-school programming.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for youth.
• Supervise Youth Development Assistants with daily program content.
• Maintain appropriate staff-to-member ratios and adjust staffing as needed.
• Establish clear structure, expectations, and behavioral guidance.
• Ensure compliance with uniform policy and professionalism.
• Oversee cleanliness, safety, and organization of spaces.
• Build strong relationships with members, families, and partners.
• Support development in physical, social, artistic, and life skills.
• Promote character development and post-secondary readiness.
• Assist with food prep, front desk duties, and administrative tasks.
