Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid/AED and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
• Age 16 or older; state policies may adjust minimum age.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a group of children in accordance with Hastings YMCA and state standards.
• Acts as a positive role model for youth aged 5–12.
• Assists with program activities aligned to YMCA values.
• Supports reading, math, science, outdoor activities, music, sports, and aquatics as assigned.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and policy adherence.
• Communicates effectively with parents and staff; participates in meetings.
