Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County is seeking a part-time Program Specialist for the after-school program at Park Elementary School in Durango, CO. The role runs 2:00 pm–6:00 pm, 15–24 hours per week, and is flexible to accommodate college classes or additional jobs.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering activities that promote character and leadership, healthy lifestyles, workforce readiness, and academic success, while engaging youth in rich, inclusive experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have at least 3 months (455 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children over the ages of four (4) OR early childhood professional credential level I (1) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement programs and activities for youth, focusing on character & leadership, health lifestyles, workforce readiness, and academic success.
