Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester is seeking a School Age Child Care Lead Staff for Plumley Village (10 Laurel St.). This part-time role runs Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, guiding children ages 5-13 through engaging educational and recreational activities.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a relevant degree or experience, and be ready to supervise, mentor, and support youth development in a dynamic after-school setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must meet EEC age requirement and show ability to work with youth.
• Experience with school-age children is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate after-school activities for 5-13 year-olds.
• Create a safe, engaging environment and supervise participants.
• Support social, emotional, and academic development.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and Club policies.
• Provide homework help and academic support when needed.
• Assist with special events and Club initiatives.
